| The Cape Romain & Bulls Bay area is still unspoile pristine! You can kayak out to Bulls Island or take a ferry boat from Garris Landing. The island has lots of trails, plus the "boneyard." Lots of wildlife here. Caution to kayakers and boaters- Do your homework! Tide and currents at work all through this area. Bulls Bay although quite large is very shallow!!! Two maps below. 1st one is current, the 2nd one is from 2000. Back then there was an island at the entrance to Five fathom Creek that we kayaked to many times. That island has been reclaimed by the Atlantic. | |
