 Cold Oven Pound Cake


1 sticks                   margarine, softened
2 sticks                   butter, softened
3 cups                     sifted plain flour
3 cups                     sugar
7 large                    eggs (at room temperature)
1 cup                       whipping cream
1 teaspoon             butternut flavoring or flavoring of your choice
1/2 teaspoon         baking powder
Prep Time:   minutes    Cooking Time: 1 1/2 hours    Serves:
1.  Grease and flour pan
2.  Sift flour and baking powder together, set aside
3.  Cream butter and sugar until smooth
4.  Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each
5.  Slowly add flour mixture, alternating with whipping cream
6.  Add flavoring, blend well
7.  Pour into well greased and floured pan
8.  Bake 1 1/2 hours
